Licentric costs nothing to start — the Free plan is permanent. Paid plans are $5/month (Starter), $29/month (Growth), and $199/month (Enterprise) — all in USD, self-serve, each with a 14-day free trial and two months free on annual billing. Custom contracts and a signed SLA are available on request. There is no SLA on self-serve tiers.

Common questions about Licentric pricing and billing.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the dashboard billing settings. When upgrading, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the new rate applies at your next billing date.

What happens when I exceed limits?

License creation is gated by your plan's hard limit — you'll see a clear error if you try to create more than your tier allows. API request limits are enforced per calendar month: requests beyond your quota return HTTP 429 with the next billing date as the reset time. Your existing licenses keep validating; only new outbound API calls are paused until your quota resets or you upgrade.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes! Toggle to annual billing on the pricing cards above to save 2 months per year. All paid plans offer both monthly and annual billing. Enterprise customers can request custom billing terms.

Is there a free trial?

The Free plan is permanent — no trial, no expiration. You can use it for testing, prototyping, and small projects indefinitely. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the full feature set before committing.

How does the API request limit work?

API requests are counted per calendar month and include all calls to the Licentric REST API: license validations, machine activations, product management, and webhook deliveries. Dashboard and portal usage does not count toward your limit.
